Meanwhile Tottenham put aside speculation about the future of head coach Tim Sherwood to hammer Sunderland 5-1 in the Premier League last night. Hours before the game it had been suggested he'll be relieved of his duties in the summer. Sherwood believes he deserves a chance to stay in the job.
