FIFA has sacked general secretary Jerome Valcke. He worked for several years alongside banned president Sepp Blatter - and was already provisionally suspended from world football's governing body. FIFA's ethics committee formally opened proceedings against him last week - over alleged corruption surrounding World Cup ticket sales. Valcke denies wrongdoing.
