Nottingham Forest have confirmed that manager Billy Davies has been sacked. The move was being widely reported this morning, after their 5-nil thrashing by rivals Derby County at the weekend. That came at the end of a poor run of games for Forest, that saw them drop out of the Championship play off places. Former Crystal Palace and Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock is reportedly set to take charge of the two-time European Cup winners, initially until the end of season.
