The ESB says its working to restore power to 3,000 people affected by Storm Doris this morning.
Crews have been out since first light to repair over 600 faults on the network. The Drogheda, Slane and Navan areas are worst affected - while significant damage was done to power stations in Longford and South Leitrim when the storm brought winds of 140 km per hour yesterday. Separately in Dublin this morning 2000 people are without power in the Ballymun DCU area due to a fault on the system.
