4 arrested in wexford over false imprisonment incident
Four people were arrested yesterday in connection with investigations into False Imprisonment, Blackmail and Criminal Damage. The incidents happened in Gorey between the 25th of January and the 3rd of February. Two men, aged 25 and 33, and two women, aged 31 and 48 were arrested in Gorey and Enniscorthy yesterday morning. Three of those arrested, 2 men and 1 woman, are currently being detained at Enniscorthy and Wexford Garda stations under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act. The fourth person, a woman aged 48, was detained at Gorey Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. She was released yesterday evening from Garda custody without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
