Gardai are expected to launch a murder investigation, after the body of 47 year old Christy Daly was found in a drain in Co Offaly. His remains were discovered six foot deep in a drain on the Bog Road just outside Clara. The father of six, who's from the area, had been released from prison last month. A post mortem has been carried out to find out how he died. Superintendent David Taylor from the Garda Press Office says the body was found 100 metres from a burnt out caravan and two cars.
