All hallows college in dublin to close
All Hallows College in Drumcondra in Dublin has confirmed it's to close, after 172 years in operation. It's run into money trouble following a drop in student numbers. It's been part of DCU since 2008, but first opened in 1842 to train priests. The College was in theNews this week after it reversed a controversial decision to auction a collection of letters written by Jackie Kennedy. The college's director of communications Carolanne Henry says the failure to sell the papers did have an impact.
