Appeal for information following ballycanew post office robbery
Gardai in Gorey are renewing their appeal for information on the robbery of the Post Office in Ballycanew on Monday. Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the village, particularly the movements of a silver Toyota Corolla beween 9 and 11am, are asked to contact them. A man wearing a balaclava and carrying a gun entered the post office at around 10am demanded cash and left with a small sum. It's the second robbery on the post office in the past few months.
