Arctic weather warnings now in place

We're being warned not to underestimate the severity of the Beast from the East.

People have been buying extra supplies ahead of a predicted temperature drop and forecasts for continuous snow. A status orange warning is in place for several eastern counties, while a yellow weather alert is due to come into effect for southern and midland counties this evening. However the worst of the weather isn't due to hit us until Thursday.
