The Athenaeum in Enniscorthy is officially being reopened tonight.
The headquarters of the volunteers during the 1916 Rising in the town it continued to be a theatrical and entertainment venue for many years afterwards. Having fallen into disrepair the Athenaeum has been restored to its former glory for this evenings grand opening.
