Bribery investigation underway at fifa
FIFA president Sepp Blatter won't be resigning following an investigation into bribery allegations at world football's governing body. The US justice department says two current FIFA Vice Presidents are among 9 officials and 5 others being held on corruption charges. Officials in Switzerland have launched a criminal investigation into how the 2018 and 2022 football World Cups were awarded. While an investigation is also underway in relation to bribery and fraud allegations relating back to 1991 Delegates are in Zurich where they're due to vote for their next President on Friday - the FAI has confirmed it will vote against Sepp Blatter's re-election. FIFA's Communications Director Walter De Gregorio says that vote will still go ahead.
