Bridgetown residents protest over water meter installations
A number of residents in a County Wexford housing estate have begun a protest over the installation of water meters. Around 20 people in the unfinished Hazelwood Estate in Bridgetown decided to carry out a peaceful protest after they were informed Irish Water would be installing meters in their area. They say they're willing to take their campaign as far as it needs to be taken. Brenda O'Carroll who is a resident and has decided to protest told South East Radio's Morning Mix that they're already being forced to buy water because what is currently available is undrinkable. She says they're not going to pay twice for their water.
