Britain's prince charles begins irish visit today
Britain's Prince Charles will meet Gerry Adams later today, just days after a bomb believed to be destined for the heir to the British thrown, was found in Courtown in North Wexford. The Sinn Fein President and Martin McGuinness are among the political leaders included as guests to meet the Prince of Wales in Galway. Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall will spend four days in Ireland on their first official joint visit here. On Wednesday they'll visit Mullaghmore in Co Sligo - the scene of an IRA bomb attack that killed Prince Charles' great-uncle Lord Mountbatten and three others.
