Bus eireann extends route 4 to cover new ross
Bus Éireann's Expressway Route 4 service from Dublin Airport to Waterford through Carlow is to be extended from this Sunday, to cater for customers in New Ross. The company says it will result in a boost in connections for Wexford town, with 10 services a day between New Ross and Dublin via Carlow. The route is being extended to compensate for the ending of the Expressway Route 5 service which also comes into affect on Sunday. In a statement Bus Eireann says to ensure ongoing connectivity in the west Wicklow region – including Bunclody, Tullow, and Baltinglass – and in conjunction with the National Transport Authority there will be an extension of the public service Route 132 which travels from Dublin to Rosslare Europort via Tullow. They say Wexford Rural Link will support these services with local connections.
