Gardai in Wexford Town have launched an investigation after they discovered what they have described as a "sophisticated cannabis production operation".
It was found during a planned search operation at a house in Corramacurra in Murrintown. Over 80 cannabis plants were seized with an estimated street value of €68,000 A number of follow up searches were carried out in the New Ross and Wexford Districts as part of the investigation. No arrests have been made.
