Compensation for magdalene laundry survivors revealed
Over 350 former residents of Magdalene Laundries have recieved compensation from the State. They have got 12.8 million euro in lump sum paymernts. The figure has been given to the Dail by the Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald. Former residents of the House of Mercy Training School in Summerhill in Wexford were included in the compensation.
