Local authorities across the country are being urged to examine their internal cyber security procedures after a cyber-attack against Meath County Council.
The Gardai and Interpol are currently investigating the attempted theft of € 4.3 million euro from the council. It's understood the transaction was stopped in time and the funds frozen.
