The Irish Dental Association says it welcomes the fact that the PRSI Treatment Benefit Scheme will soon be extended to cover more patients and procedures.
Subsidised dental care for the self-employed is due to be available for the first time in April, with the range of treatments available to PAYE workers due to be extended from October of this year. The Irish Dental Association is currently negotiating the details of these changes with the Minister for Social Protection.
