Drink driving
The Transport Minister says there's anecdotal evidence that there's not enough Garda checkpoints to catch drink drivers. Shane Ross has also told an Oireachtas committee that the level of drink driving again is "staggering". He says he also believes that a lack of Garda checkpoints mean that many drunk drivers aren't even being caught:
