Farmers Issue Strong Warning Regarding Food Prices


Farmers are warning the cost of food will rise if the Strait of Hormuz isn't re-opened soon. 

Iran has effectively shut the vital route, causing fuel and fertiliser prices to surge in recent weeks.

About 30 per cent of the world's fertiliser and 20 per cent of the world's oil passes through the Strait.
