Future of wexford local development uncertain

The future of Wexford Local Development is uncertain as the government pushes ahead with the reform of local administration. WLD has operated and administered the Leader Programme over the past number of years in County Wexford. During that period it provided financial support to start up businessess, community initiatives and training programmes. Under new government proposals Wexford County Council would take over the role of administering the LEADER programme and offer contracts for its implementation.
