The government has agreed to defer a disposal levy on truck and lorry tyres.
The €11 levy was to be introduced on October 1st but has been put back until next year following the intervention of the Irish Road Hauliers Association. President of the IRHA Wexford woman Verona Murphy says their industry is under huge threat from different quarters and they want to prevent this latest levy.
