Ireland elects it's first mep
Fianna Fáil's Brian Crowley has been elected on the first count in the Ireland South European Election, which includes County Wexford. He exceeded the quota with 180,329 votes - his 48-thousand surplus votes will now be redistributed. Sinn Fein's Liadh Ni Riada looks set to take the second seat with 125,309 while Fine Gael's Sean Kelly is widely expected to take the third.
