Leaving Certificate To Be Cancelled

Students across Co. Wexford will not sit the Leaving Certificate this summer.

After weeks of speculation a definitive decision to cancel the state exam is expected to be announced later this afternoon. It's expected to be replaced with a system of predictive grades. Labour's Education Spokesman, Aodhán Ó Ríordáin, is raising concerns about the legality of predictive grading.
