MAN DIES IN ROSCOMMON KAYAKING ACCIDENT A postmortem is due to be carried out on the body of a man who died following a kayaking incident in Roscommon yesterday. It's understood the man had been on the water in Lough Ree near Hudson Bay when he got into difficulty. The Coastguard helicopter and local RNLI attended the scene - but the man was later pronounced dead at Portiuncula Hospital in Ballinasloe.
