In another blow to Wexford's community spirit, vandalism has struck again at the Three Rock Trail in Carrigfoyle, Forth Mountain. Bridget and Frank Doyle who run the popular coffee trailer in the area & who work tirelessly to maintain the area, were devastated to find the toilets vandalised badly over the weekend. The mindless damage included a badly blocked toilet, the washbasin pulled off the wall & tiles broken. The incident has left the couple heartbroken. Mayor of Wexford, Councillor Gary Laffan, expressed his outrage at the destruction, stating that the act was not just an attack on the toilets but on the wider community that benefits from the efforts of Bridget and Frank. Speaking on Morning Mix he said that there are cameras in place and hopes these will lead to identifying those responsible. While the incident has caused widespread upset, Laffan assured the Doyles that everything possible will be done to repair the damage. The mayor also reflected on the troubling nature of such acts, asking, "Who are these people, and why do they do it?"
