Minister Denies Bus Eireann Routes May Be Axed

The transport minister has denied reports he is considering scrapping up to eight Bus Éireann routes. Shane Ross says that while some routes may need to be downgraded, he doesn't want to scrap them altogether. The minister had reportedly told cabinet yesterday that six to eight routes would need to be scrapped to help Bus Eireann break even.
