Hurricane Irma has made landfall in the Caribbean this morning.
With 185 miles per hour it's the most powerful Atlantic Ocean hurricane in recorded history. The island of Barbuda's been struck so far today with Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Cuba and Florida all on alert. The National Hurricane centre's also warning Tropical Storm Jose which is also in the area is expected to reach hurricane status tonight.
