Marriage referendum poll shows yes side still ahead
With just days left until the vote, a new poll has found the YES side in the same-sex marriage referendum remains firmly in the lead. But according to the Irish Times/IPSOS poll of 1200 people, that support for the YES campaign has dropped 4 per cent. Of those surveyed last Wednesday and Thursday, 58 per cent intend to vote in favour of allowing same-sex couples to marry, with 25 per cent planning to vote against it. 17 per cent were either undecided, or said they would not vote.
