New Chapter For Wexford Landmark

A well-known Wexford landmark could be set for a new chapter, twenty years after it was destroyed by fire.

The former Oak Tavern site at Ferrycarrig has been bought by a local businessperson for a figure understood to be close to its €250,000 asking price.

The riverside property had previously secured planning permission for a new pub and restaurant, although that permission has since lapsed.

There’s no word yet on what the new owner has planned for the site

The property was listed through Kehoe & Associates
