The Irish Family Planning Association says more than half of clients with unplanned pregnancies last year intended to travel abroad for abortion services. Launching its Impact Report for 2015 the group says 3 clients were potentially eligible to access abortion services here under the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Act. However each one opted not to undergo the assessment procedure involved, and preferred to travel instead.
