New northern secretary
British Prime Minister Theresa May has appointed a new northern secretary. James Brokenshire is a former Minister for Security and Immigration and is an MP for Old Blexley and Sidcup Earlier, his predecessor Theresa Villiers announced she wouldn't continue in government, after she turned down the offer of a different cabinet position. Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan has congratulated the new Secretary of State.
