Saint Patrick's Day messages from New Ross are being sent around the world this year An event to mark the occasion has taken place at the Emigrant Flame in the town. GAA stars from around the Country assembled at the Emigrant Flame on the quayside in New Ross yesterday to send greetings to Irish people around the world. The Saint Patrick's Day greeting was organised by the Gaelic Players Assocaiton, and its to acknowledge the number of GAA clubs and playing centres that have sprung up around the world. The Emigrant Flame is seen as a symbol of the Irish diaspora who are now dispersed across the world. Wexford GAA players to feature in the photograph are Eanna Martin and Lee Chin.
