New wexford ambassadors welcomed by coco
Two giants of the horse racing world in Ireland took up new roles this afternoon to promote their native Wexford. Trainers Jim Bolger and Aidan O'Brien were welcomed as Ambassadors for Wexford by the County Council at a reception held at the Curragh Racecourse in Kildare. The actual presentation ceremonies were held in the racecourse's parade ring this afternoon during today's race meeting. Jim Bolger is renowned for his training skills both at home and in Britain where he has saddled many top class winners. Aidan O'Brien actually began his training career under the tutelage of Bolger and now runs the massive Ballydoyle racing yard in County Tipperary.
