Next Week's School Closures Still In Balance

It's still unclear whether next week's industrial action by teachers will go ahead.

Hundreds of secondary schools are set to close unless the ASTI can work out a deal with the Department of Education over supervision and substitution duties. The Department says it remains in regular contact with school management bodies on contingency arrangements ahead of Mondays action.
