Northern ireland backstop back on agenda

The Tánaiste says he won't rule out a Northern Ireland only backstop.

That's despite Boris Johnson saying he'd never go for the idea. It would see the North align its trade rules with the EU with checks on goods coming from the UK being done at ports and airports. Tánaiste Simon Coveney says now is the time for solutions
