An immunologists believes people with compromised immune systems should be getting a booster vaccine from August.
NIAC is considering if a campaign is needed, which would see an additional dose given out along with the flu vaccine. The Committee yesterday recommended the mixing of vaccines in some situations. Dr Elizabeth Ryan from the University of Limerick thinks the evidence supports a booster campaign:
