The deadline for regularising your affairs had been midnight tonight when a range of penalties were to be implemented. However the Revenue Commissioners has confirmed that the deadline is now being extended to close of business on Wednesday because of the large volume of calls and queries it is dealing with at the moment. 6 million euro has been collected over the past 48 hours - bringing the total compliance rate to 88 per cent.
