Rosslare search operation called off after no one reported missing

A major search operation off coast at Rosslare was called off last night.

It followed reports of a swimmer having got into difficulty on Rosslare strand yesterday afternoon but nobody was found and no one was reported missing. Dave Maloney from Rosslare Lifeboat says the sighting was credible and reporting the situation was the right thing to do.
