A serious road accident has occured on the R722 between Ferns and the Scarawlash roundabout
Gardaí and the emergency services are at the scene and the road is closed Its believed to have involved a pedestrian and a car The accident happened in the townland of Ballylough and diversions are in operation while the road remains closed
