Shatter expected to appeal ruling over wallace comments
It's reported today that Alan Shatter is to appeal a ruling that he broke the law as a result of comments he made about a Wexford Independent TD. According to theNewspapers today the former Justice Minister's case is due for mention at the Circuit Court tomorrow. The Data Protection Commissioner found Mr Shatter broke the law when he disclosed personal information about Deputy Mick Wallace during an edition of 'Prime Time' on television in May of last year. The Dublin South TD later apologised in the Dail.
