Shoe rack examiner given more time to save business
The examiner appointed to footwear chain Shoe Rack - which has a store in County Wexford - has been given more time to draw up a survival plan for the business. Shoe Rack has 10 stores in Ireland - including one on South main street in Wexford Town - and employs around 70 staff across the country. The insolvent chain went into examinership last April after struggling with boom time rents. High Court protection will now remain in place until July 8th.
