St.patrick's day parades around wexford
Monday will see parades around the county for St.Patricks Day with Bunclody starting things off with a parade setting off at 10.30am from the Mill Race Hotel car park. That's followed by Wexford town where the start point is the top of William Street/Maudlintown with a start time of 11am. The only parade in the country to take place on a beach is in Duncannon at 12.30pm, with participants assembling outside the parish church. At 2pm three more parades will begin - New Ross from the Good Counsel College grounds, Clonroche from Mernagh's Equestrian Centre and Carrig-on-Bannow from Danescastle National School's field. Finally, at 3pm the Enniscorthy parade begins at St.Senan's Church, the 98 Monument on McCurtain Street is the start of Gorey's and Taghmon's sets off from the Community Centre.
