8 million tourists visited Ireland in 2015 according to Fáilte Ireland. That's up 13 percent since last year. Tourism brought in an extra 6 billion euro to the Irish economy in 2015 - an increase of 16 percent. Most tourists visiting Ireland are from the UK followed by mainland Europe and then North America.
