Tusla could be sued for spreading false accusations of child abuse about a Garda whistleblower.
It's emerged the child and family agency passed on untrue allegations about Sergeant Maurice McCabe at the same time he made complaints about the Garda force. The agency now says the complaints were a result of a 'clerical error', Wexford Fine Gael TD Michael Darcy says the latest revelations has brought the case to a new low.
