Water restrictions could last until September according to Housing Minister, Eoghan Murphy.
A housepipe ban came into effect yesterday. Figures from Irish Water show demand in the Greater Dublin area has gone down from 615 mega litres on June 27th to 578 mega litres yesterday. Currently there are restrictions at 43 supplies around the country.
