A Wexford burglar was so intoxicated that he fell asleep on the homeowner's bed after piling up the items he intended to steal.
The case came before Dublin Circuit Criminal Court yesterday. 43 year old Michael McDermott from Tomagaddy, Ballycanew Gorey, pleaded guilty to burglary of the house in Coolock in Dublin on 23rd January 2016. Judge Melanie Greally jailed the man for 3 years.
