Wexford county council passes pylon motion
A motion was yesterday passed by Wexford County Council which puts a massive levy increase on overground pylons. The proposal which will see an increase in the levy from 2-thousand euro to 100-thousand euro for every pylon erected also had an amendement added. The council agreed that any pylon of a 400k voltage or more would now be required to pay the new levy on an annual basis.
