Wexford court hearing almost 100 repossession orders

94 County Wexford families are facing losing their family homes in reposession orders starting today. The cases are coming before a sitting of Wexford Circuit Court today following applications by the banks due to mortgage arrears and default. Insolvency support group New Beginnings have a representative in the court to assist people as many will not be represented. Ross Maguire from New Beginnings says these families are in a desperate dilemma. He says all over the country there are applications being made by banks to reposses family homes - 94 in Wexford - and most of the people before the courts are not represented. Ross Maguire says they simply want to be there to help them if they can because most people don't know what the solutions are.
