Wexford tourism figures are lower than expected this Easter, as the county heads into what should be one of its busiest times of the year.
The peak booking season has already been underway for several weeks, with activity building steadily over the past month and a half.
While forward bookings are positive, the Easter period has been described as 'softer than expected' by hotelier and developer Colm Neville.
When speaking on Morning Mix earlier about the upcoming Wexford Maritime Festival in May, Mr Neville says the focus now must be on giving visitors more reasons to choose Wexford, by developing new attractions and experiences in the months ahead.
